This is Tohru [toe-ru]Honda she is from a manga that I read called Fruits Basket I picked her because she meets the Shoma family. A family with a curse where if weak or huged by the opposite gender they will turn in to thrie animal of the zodiac. ( They aren't the animal of the year they were born!) Example Momiji and Hatsuharu are born the year of the boar but momiji is the rabbit and Haru ( for short) is the ox.
Any way the reason Tohru is the hero is because she is helping the others members with their anxieties and problems they have gained through their lives. ( No one knows about their transformations on the outside ecccept Tohru.) To me even though it's just a manga Tohru brings across good points and makes me feel good about my self, that is why she is my hero.
